“Katie spent a lot of time with us, both in the showroom and at our house, in helping us choose cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and hardware. She listened closely to our thoughts about what the kitchen should look like and designed a layout to match those thoughts. But, she also had suggestions that enhanced our vision. Her experience in designing kitchens was a definite asset in completing our job. At our request, she also helped us obtain special glass and ornamental metal screening for several of our cabinets, an approach that she had not previously done. That and internal lighting within and below the cabinets significantly enhanced the appearance of our cabinets. Other representatives from Cabinet Discounters (delivery guys and carpenters, in particular) were professional, capable, on time, and courteous.”
Working along with Katie, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry with Verona door style in Cherry Mattoon with a brown glaze. The countertops are Cambria Bradshaw quartz. The 3″ x 6″ backsplash tile and 12″ x 24″ floor tile was also provided by Cabinet Discounters.
“We are very pleased with the outcome of our kitchen renovation. The final result is just what we wanted; it compliments the adjoining rooms perfectly. We often comment to each other about how great an improvement our new kitchen is over what we had.”

All of these items are an improvement over what we had. We are cooking more, entertaining large and small groups, and enjoying the flexibility that our new kitchen provides. We are particularly pleased with the new pantry, the large drawers, spice rack and laundry area. In particular, the deep drawers and pull-out shelving make it much easier for us to store kitchen-ware and to reach them without bending over too far or even going to our knees to reach items that are at the back of a cabinet.
