Why do you call yourselves Cabinet Discounters?

When we first started in 1983, it was during a time when most cabinet dealers were selling at full list price. We wanted to provide our customers a better value than that so we became one of the first to "discount" our cabinetry. Our philosophy remains the same today, to provide the very best value for our customer's dollar backed by an exceptional level of customer service.

Do I need an appointment to visit one of your showrooms?

Our customers are welcome to visit our showrooms anytime, no appointment necessary. If you are ready to sit down with one of our sales consultants, then we do recommend an appointment so we can set aside a guaranteed time to focus on your project.

What does a new kitchen or bathroom cost?

The short answer is "it all depends". The pricing depends on a great number of variables. Are you doing a complete remodel which includes new cabinetry, countertops, flooring, etc.. or are you doing just a simple cabinet replacement? Which type of cabinetry are you interested in? Which wood species, door style, accessories, mouldings, custom features, etc.? Which type of countertop material? Are you keeping the same "footprint" of your kitchen or bathroom or are you interested in changing the space? All these type of decisions impact the cost of your project. Here's one thing you can be confident of, no matter what budget figure you have, we will work closely with you to determine the products that fit your needs.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes, we will provide a free estimate on your remodeling project. Typically, we ask the client to visit our showroom with a rough drawing of their intended project area. These dimensions give us a great starting point for your project. We can discuss the design, your requirements and dreams for the space, and then we can develop an estimate.

Do you have cabinets in stock?

While we don't physically stock any cabinetry in our showrooms, we have several styles of kitchen cabinetry & bathroom vanities that are available in a few days.

How long does it take to order cabinets?

Cabinets can take from as little as a few days for a limited selection of styles and configurations, up to about eight weeks for custom cabinets.

Do you do refacing?

We don't offer refacing because after researching this product offering, we determined that we can provide new cabinetry at pricing very comparable to refacing. Along with competive pricing, new cabinetry can also be installed in a very timely manner with minimal disruption. Why pay for a face lift when you can get all new cabinetry?

Can we buy just cabinets and arrange our own installation?

Absolutely! We are happy to provide just the materials for you or your contractor to install the project. Prior to ordering and after delivery, we will work with the installer to answer any questions to make sure your installation process is a smooth one.
